The Center of Sorrow

At the center of sorrow is the weightedness of love and longing.

A space for tending sorrow and the quiet, contemplative work of staying human inside loss. We accompany individuals and families through acute heartache, the long integration that follows, and the slow unfolding of what it means to be fully human.

our purpose

To restore dignity, belonging, and spiritual safety to those moving through sorrow.

Rituals & Ceremonies

Bespoke ritual and ceremonial work for the moments a life asks to be marked. Beginnings, endings, anniversaries, and the unmarked passages between.

Sorrowing Soulcare Companioning

Longer-form companioning for complex spiritual passages: loss of relationships, deconstruction, re-formation, and the quieter griefs that do not fit a category.

Sorrowing Circles

Our recurring ceremony for sorrow, held in small facilitated groups. A contemplative practice of being witnessed without being fixed. Often the gentlest way in.

where to begin

Three ways to enter this work:

Sorrow is not an aberration of love. It is  love's proof.

Sorrowing Circles

Our recurring ceremony for sorrows. Small, time-limited circles facilitated by Cami, where a handful of people sit with their losses in shared, contemplative time. Not therapy and not a support group, closer to a held practice of witnessing.

Sliding scale and community-supported places available.
